That's why, generally, for code editors, as N++, it's better to use a monospaced font ! ) !ĭepending upon the chosen proportional font, in N++, the length of these four lines may be quite different. In Notepad++, if you use the Courrier New default font, which is a monospaced ( or fixed ) font, the four lines above, take exactly the same horizontal length, but they DON'T, if you're using, for example, the ' Lucida Sans Unicode font or any proportional font, like Times New Roman, Arial, Tahoma.
